I wanted to thank you the reader for checking out the comic! Issue #1 received many hits in a short time. In fact it was so many hits that the first and second location I set the comic up at wouldn't hold. Both of the first 2 sites had such a low bandwidth that it was worthless for them to even offer their service in my opinion. The other 2 sites are topcities and 0catch in case you want to avoid them and have less headache. Freeservers seems like a nice location and is doing well with ample bandwidth supply. The goal is to provide entertainment, not for me or especially some nobody webserver to get rich off of.

I wanted to thank those who signed the guest map too. It's a neat thing I found and hope to see many people sign it. It'll be cool seeing where people are from that are reading G.I.Joe Manga. Also I setup a Yahoo club so anyone that wants to stay up to date when a new issue comes out, or any other addition to the site can easily be informed. Of course I'll be going to the boards I frequent to let people know as well.

Another thanks goes to my wife for supporting me with the book. She's editing my work too and making sure everything sounds right along with making sure it's Manga. Even though I'm using other Manga comics as guidelines, it's still fully done from scratch really. Until I feel I have the Manga style down, I'll keep working "with a net" under me so I can give you the best presentation I can.

Briefly I'll mention some thoughts for the future. As long as people seem to like it, I'll be presenting this comic. It'll remain free of charge. I won't give away any storylines, but I wanted to say that if you are open to this new universe, you will be surprised what's to come. This will really be something never done in G.I.Joe before.

Last of all I wanted to address a couple of negative comments I recall from the first issue. Someone had said nothing good can come of this. Well, what bad can? It's an all new G.I.Joe comic to read. Sure it's a fan made comic, but it's free! What bad comes of that? The main comic won't turn Manga based on my input I can assure you! Also someone pointed out that G.I.Joe doesn't work as Manga. Well I can also assure you it's fitting nicely. It's requiring a total rewrite, but it's working out fine. But those who don't like Manga or even Anime probably won't like this no matter how much is put in it. That's ok though. No problems there. The only other thing I recall being said is "It's stupid". Well I'm not going to say everyone will like this. It's a fun project and is something that I wanted to offer. I'm sure there are those who will think it is stupid, but again it's free so it's easy enough to pass up if it does come off as stupid.
